Julie Moody at KUT is unfamiliar with the meaning of the word “literally”.

8 years ago, Robert Rodriguez literally exploded onto the movie scene with his indie hit “El Mariachi.” But Christopher Kelly says that freewheeling, energetic and innovative style has disappeared from Rodriguezʼs more recent films.

Perhaps his innovative style disappeared because he literally exploded when his first movie was released?
